The Bitbuy Brief: Bitbuy Joins the Crypto Bowl?

Issue #171: Bitbuy Joins the Crypto Bowl?

February 10th, 2022

Weekly Market Recap
Big week for crypto.

All coins on Bitbuy had double-digit price increases.

It’s nice to see all that green, again!

On the daily charts, Bitcoin price has broken above the 50 EMA and above a recent $55K CAD resistance level.

If it keeps going up, we should see a Golden Cross on the 50 and 200 EMAs. Traditionally signifying a Bull market.

The Bitcoin maximalists on Twitter are suggesting Bitcoin is finally decoupling from traditional markets.

Some may dispute it. Especially since we saw the Bitcoin price wick down 3% after this morning’s inflation news.

And if you’re interested, here’s another bullish analysis on Ethereum to check out.

The Crypto Bowl?

NBC has announced that all their commercial inventory for this year’s Super Bowl has sold out with the network asking up to a record $7 million USD per 30-second spot.

Coinbase, FTX, eToro, and Crypto.com will all be vying for the attention of Super Bowl watchers into what is now being labeled ‘The Crypto Bowl’ in the United States.

Up here things look much different. CTV and TSN are broadcasting the Super Bowl but only registered crypto exchanges are allowed to advertise which leaves the foreign exchanges out in the cold.

Bitbuy, on the other hand, is registered and will be the first crypto platform in Canada to advertise in the big game!

Immediately after becoming registered on November 30th, Bitbuy took advantage of its newfound advertising freedom by setting its sights on the Super Bowl. And just two days later, the company officially signed Kyle Lowry to be its official Brand Ambassador.
