On December 12th, 2020 at midnight UTC time, Flare Network will be taking a snapshot of all XRP token holders on the network as part of an upcoming airdrop.
Flare will be distributing a new token called Spark in Q1 2021 to the users who have XRP in supporting wallets at that time.
Unfortunately and despite best efforts made by our team, Bitbuy will not be able to support the airdrop.
That means, if you leave XRP in your Bitbuy wallet, you will not receive the corresponding airdropped Flare Spark tokens in your Bitbuy account when they become available. It’s important to note that no claim will be made, meaning Bitbuy nor any of our partners will be claiming the tokens on your behalf.
If you are interested in receiving these tokens, you will need to withdraw your XRP to a supporting wallet or exchange. The list of supporting wallets and exchanges and instructions on how to claim the tokens can be found on Flare’s website.

The decision has been made after consultation with our wallet partners, engineering and compliance teams, and some preliminary discussions with the Flare team.
